Course overview

This course meets OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) requirements for employees who work with or around hazardous chemicals. Students learn to read Safety Data Sheets, understand GHS labeling, and recognize chemical hazards specific to their facility.

HAZCOM violations are consistently among the most frequently cited by OSHA — usually because the training happened once, years ago, in a format nobody remembers.
